About LRT Plius
LRT Plius is a Lithuanian public television channel within the LRT system. Compared with the main general channel, it places stronger emphasis on culture, documentaries, educational projects, debates and archive programming.
The schedule includes documentaries, cultural cycles, concerts, theatre and music projects, public discussions, educational programmes, history formats, films, repeats and special editions. The channel has a calmer pace than general television, with more long-form programming, Lithuanian culture and thematic selections.
LRT Plius broadcasts mainly in Lithuanian. Cultural blocks, documentaries, debates, concerts, evening programmes and repeat runs are visible parts of the schedule.
The channel is distributed through terrestrial television and TV provider networks. Its strength is LRT’s public cultural and educational line-up.
