About Рыболов (Rybolov)

Rybolov is a Russian 24-hour TV channel dedicated to fishing. The channel began broadcasting on 27 April 2007 under the name Vesyoloye TV, was renamed Okhotnik i Rybolov on 1 December 2009 and received its current name Rybolov in April 2020.

Programming covers fishing, angling techniques and fishing journeys, with new premieres around the clock and no reruns. The slogan is "Vsegda klyuyet!" (Always biting!). The channel broadcasts in 16:9 format in SD and HD.

The channel was founded by AO Pervyy TVCh. Natalya Sidorenkova serves as programme director, with Georgiy Arzhanukhin as editor. Rybolov is available through digital terrestrial television, cable networks and satellite providers of Russian and international operators.
