BBC 1 HD is the high-definition version of BBC One. The channel is part of the British Broadcasting Corporation, broadcasts in 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) in English, and keeps the schedule of the BBC's flagship public-service television channel.

The line-up includes BBC News bulletins, current-affairs and analytical programmes, British and international films and series, documentary cycles about history, nature and culture, entertainment shows, sports broadcasts, programmes about the Royal Family and national events in the United Kingdom.

The history of BBC One goes back to 2 November 1936, when the BBC began regular television broadcasting. The HD version was launched on 3 November 2010. BBC 1 HD is available through digital terrestrial TV in the UK, cable and satellite networks and IPTV/OTT platforms.
