BBC 2 HD is the high-definition version of BBC Two. The channel is part of the British Broadcasting Corporation, broadcasts in 1080i 16:9 (HDTV) in English, and keeps BBC Two's more documentary, cultural and educational profile.

The line-up includes documentary cycles about history, science and nature, cultural and educational programmes, films and series, authored projects by British journalists and documentary filmmakers, comedy shows, sports broadcasts, educational programmes and intellectual formats.

BBC Two began broadcasting on 20 April 1964 as the second channel of the BBC public television network. The HD version was launched in 2014 and replaced the former BBC HD. BBC 2 HD is available through digital terrestrial TV in the UK, cable and satellite networks and IPTV/OTT platforms.
