About 4seven

4seven [UK] is a British free-to-air channel in the Channel 4 family, launched on 4 July 2012. Before launch, the project used the working title Project Shuffle, and the channel is owned by Channel Four Television Corporation.

The idea behind 4seven is repeat screening of Channel 4 programmes that attracted strong attention after their first broadcast. The schedule brings together recent hits, documentaries, entertainment formats, series, reality shows and specials.

The channel broadcasts in English and acts as a companion channel for the most talked-about parts of the Channel 4 line-up. Its programming line consists of repeat slots, themed blocks and curated selections built around strong editions from the main Channel 4 schedule.
