About CBS Drama

CBS Drama [UK] is a British television channel for drama series, launched on 16 November 2009. The channel broadcasts in English and builds its line-up around serial drama, melodrama, family stories and classic television drama.

The schedule combines more recent CBS dramas with archive series from American television. Regular serial blocks give the channel its rhythm: familiar characters, older episodes, evening drama selections and repeats shape the day.

The channel slogan is "Drama that moves you". CBS Drama is linked with a joint venture between CBS Studios International and AMC Networks International, and in 2023 James Hunter served as chief executive. Series, repeats, themed blocks and evening slots form the main structure of the schedule.
