About СТС (CTC)

CTC is a Russian private entertainment TV channel from the CTC Media holding. The channel launched on 1 December 1996 and is one of Russia's major free-to-air entertainment broadcasters.

The schedule centres on feature films, entertainment shows, in-house series, sitcoms and comedy programming. The channel uses the slogan "Time for Bright Emotions".

CTC broadcasts in 576i 16:9 format. The channel is carried over digital terrestrial television, cable and satellite networks of Russian operators, including major pay-TV packages. The broadcast area covers Russia and several countries of the CIS region.
