Bober is a Russian educational TV channel about hobbies, renovation and do-it-yourself home improvement. The channel began broadcasting on 9 August 2015 in Russian and operates around the clock.
The programming focuses on home improvement, renovation, landscape design, cooking, gardening, handicrafts and other hobbies. Bober became the first 24-hour Russian TV channel dedicated to hobbies and DIY content, with at least 95 percent of its broadcast content produced by the channel itself.
Aleksey Neklyudov was one of the channel's voices in 2015-2017, followed by Yevgeniy Rybov from 2017. The channel broadcasts in 576i 16:9 (SDTV). Today Bober is part of the Digital TV Family brand, and until 2022 it belonged to AO Pervyy Kanal Vsemirnaya Set (First Channel Worldwide Network).
The channel's headquarters are located in Moscow at the Ostankino television centre. Bober is available through digital terrestrial television, cable networks and satellite providers in Russia, the CIS countries, the Baltic States, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Israel and Mongolia.
