Yu TV is a Russian broadcast entertainment TV channel with a focus on formats for young women. The channel was launched on 16 September 2012 at 12:00 following the rebranding of Muz-TV and operates in Russian around the clock.
On air are reality shows, talk shows, documentary cycles and series — among them "Pravda zhizni" (Truth of Life), "Beremenna v 16" (Pregnant at 16), "Nevozmozhnoye vozmozhno" (The Impossible is Possible), "Zakhoteli — pokhudeli" (Wanted to Lose Weight — Did) and the series "Nedouspeshnye" (The Underachievers).
On 15 April 2013, Yu TV repositioned itself and became Russia's only broadcast channel aimed at young women. Since 2 October 2017, the slogan has been "Vsyo nachinayetsya s mechty!" (Everything begins with a dream!). The channel airs in 16:9, 576i (SDTV). Yu TV is owned by the Media-1 group of companies, part of the National Media Group, with AO TV Servis serving as operator. Natalya Radko has been general director since 2019. Artyom Shalimov was the voice of the channel in 2012—2013, with Kirill Solyonov taking over from 2013. Yu TV is available through digital terrestrial television, cable networks and satellite providers of Russian and international operators.
