About Home
Home [UK] was a British lifestyle channel from UKTV, focused on homes, design, renovation and everyday interiors. It began broadcasting on 1 November 1997 as UK Style, later operated under the Home brand and became associated with practical television about living spaces.
The schedule was built around home improvement, decorating, gardens, property, room planning and everyday domestic ideas. That format made Home more than a collection of interior tips. It gave the channel a distinct British television line about the home as part of everyday life.
Between 2019 and 2022 the channel used the slogan "Make it Home." After Home closed on 13 January 2026, part of its programming direction moved to Really, so Home [UK] remains a notable name in the history of British lifestyle television.
