About ТНТ (TNT)

TNT is a Russian nationwide entertainment television channel and the flagship of the Gazprom-Media Entertainment Television division. Regular broadcasting began on 1 January 1998, after a test transmission that started on 1 October 1997 in Saint Petersburg.

The channel specialises in entertainment programmes and comedy series. TNT owns the production companies Comedy Club Production and Good Story Media. Since 9 February 2022, the channel has been headed by Tina Kandelaki.

Since 2001, TNT has been part of the Gazprom-Media holding. The channel broadcasts in 576i (SDTV) and 1080i (HDTV) formats and is distributed through over-the-air broadcasting, cable networks and a satellite network with regional partners across Russia.
