About NRK Super HD
NRK Super HD is the high-definition version of NRK Super, Norway's public children's television channel. It belongs to the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, NRK, and is aimed at children and family viewing in Norwegian.
The schedule includes animated series, children's live-action formats, learning programmes, family stories, music blocks and short editions that explain news and everyday subjects in simple language. NRK Super has a separate place within public television, with a schedule distinct from adult news and general entertainment.
The HD version keeps the NRK Super schedule and presents animation, studio programmes for children, concerts, play-based scenes and family premieres in high definition. The schedule moves between morning children's blocks, daytime cartoons, evening family programmes and repeats of familiar strands.
