The HD format marks the technical version of the Norwegian Discovery channel, while the content remains tied to factual stories and exploration of the world. The Discovery HD line-up can include documentary series about animals, space, construction, cars, technology, history, extreme conditions and professions built on risk and practical experience.
The Norwegian version keeps the international Discovery character while fitting it into a local schedule. Daytime and evening blocks regularly include documentary premieres, repeats of major series and subjects about nature, technology, professions and unusual working environments.
