REN TV is a Russian federal television channel whose history goes back to 1 January 1997, when the REN-TV brand was launched. The current name has been in use since the 2010 rebranding.
The channel has broadcast around the clock since 2 April 2007. Since 4 October 2016, its signal has been available in HD format, 1080i 16:9. REN TV uses the slogan "Watch What Is Truly Interesting".
The shareholders are the National Media Group (82%) and SOGAZ Tower (18%). Vladimir Tyulin is the general director, and Mikhail Frolov is the editor-in-chief. REN TV is distributed across Russia and the CIS, and is also available in Estonia, Moldova and Romania.
