About TVP 1 HD (TVP 1 HD Poland)
TVP 1 HD Poland is the high-definition version of the first Polish public channel from Telewizja Polska.
TVP 1 is one of the main channels of Polish public broadcasting, combining news, public-affairs programmes, series, films, cultural projects, major events, family formats and selected sports broadcasts. Its schedule places the daytime news agenda next to evening films, series and special broadcasts.
The HD version marks the technical variant of TVP 1 and keeps the main channel schedule: news, public-affairs programmes, series, films, culture and events. The schedule alternates daytime bulletins, documentary blocks, Polish series, cultural programmes, films and special transmissions.
