About TVP Kultura
TVP Kultura is the culture channel of the Polish public broadcaster Telewizja Polska.
The channel launched on 24 April 2005 and is dedicated to art, cinema, music, theatre, literature and the wider humanities. It carries authored programmes, documentaries, concerts, stage productions, festival material, film screenings, interviews with cultural figures and discussions about books, music and visual art.
TVP Kultura keeps a calm cultural pace and links the schedule with Polish and European artistic memory. The schedule alternates blocks of cinema, stage, music, documentary cycles, debates and festival material.
